Our vision is to unite and support Kenyan Diaspora residing in SE & Kent by bringing them together to collectively respond to challenges facing them as a community.

South East & Kent Kenyans is all about creating support networks and various platforms that will engage and empower group members to maximize their lives through fulfilling their potentials.

  • We were founded as a faith-based community organization that adheres to christian values but welcomes, respects and works with people of all other faiths within our community.
  • We uphold the Kenyan cultures and advance them as our heritages together with swahili as our national language. We intend to have kids festivals more often so our kids can learn Swahili and we encourage our Kenyan parents to try talking to our kinds Swahili at home.
  • Integrity, we seek to conduct affairs of our group in an honest, transparent and ethical manner.
  • Guiding and offering welfare support to group members undergoing bereavement, challenge of repatriation or health issues, addiction and promoting the general healthcare in the community.
  • We give £2000 from the group fund per bereavement incase one loses a loved one where members are free to contribute individually and encouraged to give spiritual, moral and emotional support.
  • Attending different workshops for free e.g Business forums as well as health & well-being seminars.
  • Kids have festivals when in half term or when schools are closed and get to do alot of activities where they get to socialize and learn how to interact, study about Kenya, learn about teamwork amongst other things under the guidance of our very capable Children’s Welfare team led by  Monicah.
