Express Acceptance

- Completing event registration forms
- Making payments for community services
Implied Acceptance
- Continued use of our website
- Participation in community events
- Use of community resources
1.2 Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email notification or prominent website notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Membership & Eligibility
Who can join and participate
Full membership terms including eligibility criteria, fees, renewal process, and termination rights are detailed in our Membership Handbook. By applying for membership, you confirm you meet the eligibility requirements and agree to abide by community bylaws.
Note: Membership is non-transferable and subject to annual review.
3. Code of Conduct
Our expectations for member behavior
All members must adhere to our Community Code of Conduct, which prohibits harassment, discrimination, hate speech, and any behavior that disrupts community harmony. Violations may result in suspension or termination of membership.

4. Intellectual Property
Ownership and usage rights
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of South East Kent Kenyans Community or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification is prohibited.
5. Limitation of Liability
Our responsibility to you
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEKK Community shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for membership in the preceding 12 months.
6. Governing Law
Jurisdiction and legal framework
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Kent, United Kingdom. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
