From humble beginnings to a vibrant community
The Journey Begins
South East Kent Kenyans (SEKK) was founded in 2016 by a small group of Kenyan diaspora members who recognized the need for a supportive community in the region. What started as informal gatherings has grown into a registered community organization serving hundreds of members.
Foundation Year
SEKK officially established with 50 founding members
Formal Registration
Became a formally registered community organization
